Occasion Hair & Makeup
The aim of this course is to support you to overcome barriers to entering work. This course is designed for learners aged 19 years or over who wish to improve their chances of gaining employment in the hair and makeup industry.
These units will together help you to create Hair & makeup looks, learn new techniques, get a greater understanding of makeup & hair looks and gain even more confidence within the art.

Course Content:
- Develop blow drying, dry styling, and finishing techniques on various hair types and lengths
- Identify the capability of the client’s hair and choose appropriate products, tools, and equipment
- Use heated styling equipment to finish the service
- Provide good aftercare advice to the client
- Develop basic makeup skills of blending, techniques, face charts/shapes, aftercare, and skin preparation
Course Progression:
Students can progress onto other non-accredited and accredited courses if they choose.
