These courses are VTCT Level 1 NVQ in Barbering and hair styling & Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Barbering are excellent qualifications and a fantastic way to complete your training to confidently work as a fully qualified and professional barber & hairstylist in the hair industry whether your dream is to work in salons, on photoshoots, at events, fashion runways and assisting on T.V and small films as well as retail stores. This is a course that specializes in the highly skilled techniques of barbering precision, fashion hairstyling & braiding and high profile event hair styling.
Course Outline:
- Men’s Styling & Presentation
- Trends & Fashion Looks
- Washing & Prepping, including massage techniques & styling products
- Learn the science behind hair such as PH levels, colouring & more
- Skills of working with clippers, scissors, kit essentials, products & styling tools
- Self-employment & In-salon training, appointment books, time management, etc
- Level 2 Diploma covers much more in depth practical barbering skills to be able to be a barber in a salon once completed .
Course Content:
- 20-week L1 barbering & hair styling course & 30 week level 2 course

& are between 15 – 25 years old - Course costs; Level 1 certificate £2500
- Level 2 Diploma £3500

- Becoming self employed Barbering kit : £500 which will include: 2 x practice Dolls head, corded trimmer, clippers, Wahl barber bag with Hair Tools comb set, brush set, clamps, blades, feather cut razors, collar & gown, hair remover, x2 scissors and case & bottle spray, barbering g hair products .
- The becoming self employed kit has the extra large carry case with wheels so that you can be a Mobile Barber on completion and while you are studying.

- Creating Tiktoks, IG Reals, stories & step-by-step carousel posts for social media
- Portfolio building days
- We include social media skills, Business professionalism,
invoicing & self-employment skills - Learn on-set & gain experience working with qualified professionals
- Opportunities to shoot with great photographers to really build confidence on-set
- Health & safety talks & practicals are included in-salon & in business sessions
