Level 3 Diploma in
Makeup Artistry
This course is a Level 3 VTCT Qualification and an excellent way to complete your training to confidently work as a fully qualified and professional makeup artist in all areas of make-up from Bridal, prom, salons, events, fashion and assisting on T.V and small films as well as retail stores. If you want to specialize in special effects (SFX) makeup with some hairstyling techniques if you want to go down the film makeup route you can do the Level 3 Diploma in Fashion, special effects, hair and media makeup instead of the Artistry course.

- Bridal, Couture, Airbrushing, Fashion & SFX Looks
- Photoshoots to build up excellent pictures for portfolios

Course Content:
- 12-week makeup course
- Currently available in Manchester
- Full working Kit £500 funding and or payment plans options available,
- Makeup kit to include: MORPHE, NYX, MAC, Doll Beauty & Plouise
(skin products, eyeshadow palettes, lip products, lashes, brushes & sponges) - Course Cost: £3500
VTCT Units:
- Trend makeup techniques
- Couture Fashion trends
- Contouring & strobing for gorgeous skin
- Airbrush for high definition T.V, bridal, fashion and couture make up
- SFX including wounds, burns, scars, facial changes, ageing, cuts, bruises, casting, applying and painting prosthetics & bald caps.
- Camouflage techniques
- Health & safety
Industry Skills:
- 1 Photoshoot session each week
- Creating Tiktoks, IG Reals, stories & step-by-step carousel posts for social media
- Portfolio building days
- Masterclasses from local hair and makeup artists
- Photography and Studio Lighting masterclass
- Fashion photographer to take industry-ready pictures for portfolios
- Instagram and YouTube training sessions with industry professionals
- Makeup Bootcamp days with salons and businesses taking on staff
- We include social media skills, Business professionalism, invoicing & self-employment skills
- Learn on-set & gain experience working with qualified professionals
- Instagram, Prom & Glam evening makeups will be covered:
Spotlight, smokey eyes, cut crease, eyelash application & graphic liner techniques - Opportunities to shoot with great photographers to really build confidence on-set
- Health & safety talks & practicals are included in-salon & in business sessions
- Guest Masterclasses – High fashion, SFX, hair styling & evening makeups
- All students will have the opportunity of work placements & Self-employed work
+ you can start work in-salon straight away while you complete your qualification
