Intro to Special Effects Make-Up
The aim of this course is to support you in the beginning of your chosen career. This course is designed for learners aged 19 years or over who wish to improve their chances of gaining employment within their desired profession.
This content of this course will help you know the basis of what is needed to be a good special effect makeup artist.
Course Units:
Week 1: Set Etiquette and continuity of Visual Effects
Week 2: Face Painting
Week 3: Cuts and Bruises
Week 4: Air Brushing
Week 5: Fantasy
Week 6: Prep Mock Shoot
You will complete theory work and be put into pairs completing activities. You will learn through lessons, demos, group discussions and research.
Each learner will have a one to one at the end of each week with their tutor they will give you regular updates on your progress both verbally and in written feedback.
