Driving Theory
To provide learners the opportunity to learn about Driving Theory as a prerequisite to passing the Practical Driving Test. Looking at Health & Safety of vehicles, basic maintenance, awareness of Functional Skills – distances, speeds, ICT research and IT based practice exams
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
- · Understand the Highway Code
- · Check Basic Car Issues such as Oil levels and their effects
- · Identify Stopping Distances and its effects in bad weather
- · Identify road signs
Throughout these units:
All sessions will be delivered in house. You will complete theory work whilst undertaking mock theory test on the computer.
Each learner will have a one to one at the end of each week with their tutor they will give you regular updates on your progress both verbally and in written feedback.
You will be able to undertake the Theory Exam and Hazard Perception test (online) and achieve a pass grade.
